I just saw “To Save a Life”

I know many people have “Christian” movies. To tell you the truth, a majority of them are lame. Nothing against most of them but they all seem to fall short in some form or fashion. The Acting and the Filmography fall short of the old school “B” movies. Do not get me wrong many of these movies have very well intended messages, much like “Christian” t-shirts… they may look neat but the message falls short.

Now in the movie “To Save a Life” you have a popular high school kid, who has everything going for him… so it seems. A tragic event at the School changes everything. In this movie we see teens struggle with being accepted, popularity, being the loser, cutting, parties, prestige, a dad having an affair, pregnancy and so much more. I highly recommended this movie. The acting is up there with the average Hollywood film (which for Christian based moves is Oscar award winning) and the filmography is quality. This a movie that does not just speak to Middle School and High school age kid… it covers all ages. Even if you do not like Christians or the movies that may come from them… but if you do enjoy a good movie then take the time and see this film. You may understand what it means to save a life.

until next time…
