I am unsure how… But we are tempted every day. We choose whether we will fail or pass.
Why is it when we seem to be doing so well with our everyday walk with Christ the temptation increases ten fold… You would think that it would back off, but it never does… *sigh*
Why is it we fall for it… It is much like the sticky strips that we put down to catch a mouse… It smells of peanut butter… it doesnt even snap… just being stuck until the small animal dies.
Temptation will always be there. We look at the life of Christ. There is a specific section that speaks of three different times that He was specifically tempted by satan himself. Get this, Christ fasted for forty days and nights then satan came with the temptation… Christ made it through.
There are times when Christ had the opportunity to destory all… He could of called down legions of angles… did He? No!!!
People time and time again were plotting to kill Him… What did He do… He showed love..
There will be a time when… When this temptation arises we can look past… Christ has sent us a helper… The Holy Spirit… our hearts will be guided by Him. Let the Holy Spirit guide us….
